In 1883 a time capsule was installed in the corner stone of the new Clermont County Infirmary. During the Bicentennial Celebration of the founding of Clermont County in 2000, the time capsule was recovered. One of the items in the capsule was the Gazetteer and Directory of Clermont County, Ohio-1882 by Arthur P. Bancroft. The Clermont County Historical Society has reprinted this book. In addition, the book has been indexed. The book contains:
