County Administration Building Displays 2011

The Clermont County Commissioners have installed in the lobby of the Administration Building, 101 E. Main Street, Batavia a display case. The Clermont County Collaborative of Historical Organization’s will each month have a different display on county history provided by one of the county’s historical organizations. The display is open for viewing during the regular hours of the building. The 2009 schedule is as follows:

July-Owensville Historical Society
August-Monroe Township Historical society
September- Greater Loveland Historical Society

CCHS 2011 LIBRATY DISPLAY

2011 markers the anniversary of the first successful steamboat trip on the Ohio and Mississippi Rivers by the New Orleans (October 1811 to January 1812). In celebration of this event the Clermont County will have a display on steamboats at the following:

Clermont County Museum Day 2011

Clermont Museum Day will be held September 18, 2011. Eleven County Museum will be open: Loveland Historical Society. Goshen Township Historical Society, Greater Milford Area Historical Society, Owensville Historical Society, Harmony Hill Association, Clermont County Historical Society, Historic New Richmond, Grants Birthplace, Bethel Historical Society, Bethel Historical society, Monroe Township Historical Society and Chilo Lock 34 Park.
